iTunes Apps Store Gets 1.5 Billion Download

How time flies when you’re  having so much fun. Well, for iPhone users it certainly is fun to have the iPhone with all its apps. But for Apple, the fun lies in the fact that as of today (June 15, 2009), the iTunes Apps Store has registered the iPhone applications’ 1.5 billion downloads.

That goes without saying that  the iPhone Apps Store was able to achieve this in just one year. But the fun doesn’t stop there, as the Apps Store is continually growing. Proof? There are already around 65,000 apps in the store plus 100,000 developers registered at the iPhone Developer program.
